Our Concrete Saw Cutting Services
Our saw-cutting services have many applications, including cutting reinforced concrete in tough, hard-to-reach areas.
Slab Sawing
Slab sawing, also known as flat sawing or flat slab sawing, is a common technique for flattening concrete surfaces. A diamond blade cutter on a walk-behind machine can cut asphalt, poured concrete, and precast concrete up to 24 inches thick, making concrete slab sawing ideal for projects requiring minimal disruption to other construction work.
Slab sawing is beneficial in various applications:
- Commercial: Flat sawing reduces floor height and creates level concrete floors for solid commercial foundations. Concrete slab cutting easily cuts expansion and control joints in bridges and buildings during infrastructure projects and flattens roads during repairs.
- Industrial: Roofs, floors and bridge decks are smoothed and flattened using concrete slab sawing techniques in industrial buildings, ensuring these load-bearing structures meet their exact measurement requirements.
- Residential: Slab saw cutting is useful for residential renovation projects such as window, door, patio and swimming pool installations. It also removes driveway and sidewalk concrete slabs and foundations.
Concrete Barrier Wall Sawing
Also called track sawing due to the use of tracks for accurate cutting alignment, concrete wall sawing uses powerful diamond-blade saws to cut through thick concrete barrier walls, floors and ceilings. This saw-cutting method most benefits projects that use poured concrete and tilt-up concrete panels and pipes. It creates a low-frequency vibration on surrounding concrete, cutting up to 24 inches deep when accessed on one wall side and 48 inches on both sides.
Concrete wall sawing is mostly used in residential renovation projects to cut straight openings in walls, ceilings and floors to install windows and doors. Wall sawing cuts special or unusual-sized openings in commercial and industrial buildings to install HVAC, plumbing systems and other fixtures.
Concrete Hand Sawing
Hand saws create electrical, plumbing and HVAC openings for new utility lines. Their small size allows for precision and control during intricate projects. Hand sawing is ideal for cutting ventilation holes in crawl spaces and other hard-to-reach areas in residential, commercial and industrial settings.
